Thank God we're friends!!! It feels great when you get some special friend. Theres no need to think if he likes me or not. Do I seem Beautiful, intelligent or funny to him. All i know is that I like him! With him i can just be myself! No pressure. No heart-breaks, no tears. Just pure simple friendship. ♥ ♥ ♥

Like the lotus in the pond!

We've always adored the beauty of the lotus. Its beauty and purity captures our heart despite of the unpleasant place it is situated in which is the contaminated pond! It still shines out radiantly and continues to satisfy our hearts. This teaches us an important lesson and that is to keep on shining and give our best no matter what the conditions are. Nothing should stop or discourage us from doing what we want to do and we should always leave a good mark at every point of life. And so, no matter how worse the situation around you is, face it happily and confidently and this will reflect your inner beauty!

Sometimes in life, you find a special friend.

As we all know, life is full of ups and downs. Sometimes we come across unexpected things that we never imagined of and sometimes we get dismayed and disappointed at the feeling of not achieving something that we expected.
But by being optimistic, we will realize that the unexpected things brings us happiness and that was a better deal than what we expected it will always be good to know that everything happens for the best and that if you dont get what you wanted it was never meant to be for you!

Like many others before me, I came back to this city and along with my baggages, I brought some new hopes and dreams. The most important one was to discover my true-self and find the as to what sparkles and glitters up my life. On writing this column, I finally got the chance to write and share with everyone the cause of this liking towards this city and my life.
But, even after so much struggle, I couldn't do it justice. Whatever I wrote, it always seemed lacking. What could I say about this city that hadn't been said before?
In just 2 months, I began to see this city in a different way and felt that as if it was my own. What lay at the core of this love? My exciting new class, my interest towards various new activities, or my independence? Actually, the answer had always been before me all along, it was just me who didn't realize it. I met someone after a week school started. A friend, a classmate, a companion, just someone. When I look back... I wonder if the hangouts would have been joyous without that person. I remember those stressful nights of exams made more relaxed and tension free with my study-mate. I look back upon a lonely night made less lonely and boring by a shared chat where we would share our thoughts and ideas. When I came back, I had my goals clear in my mind, but now I know that the joy of achieving these goals is meaningful only when shared with someone else. Its now that I see that my strange love for this city is actually only because of my love for this friend of mine. This city is as tough as it is beautiful. Sometimes while running after our goals, we lose sight of some of the things that really matter. And so, close your eyes for a second and look for your special companion and admire the city through their eyes. You'll see that its even more beautiful than you would ever imagine. And perhaps who knows, even you might get an amazing friend like me. =)

Happiness is like a butterfly... the more you chase it the more it will elude you. But if you turn your attention to other things, it will cone and sit softly on your shoulder. =)

Years over, now its time to ignore the past so it wont let you down. It's been a tough year... trust me! A year full of adventures and new experiences. Some can be said to be discouraging, challenging, heart-breaking, tough, sad, happy, full of laughter, sharing and caring for someone whose close and in-short the bittersweet moments. At each and every part and turn of this year, I've gone through many new changes like new people, new rules, new atmosphere and a new ME. But no matter what happens, those you have created a special space in my heart, I will always bring them along no matter where I go(well the memories ya). One rule of life I've learnt... You have to accept everything. The only thing you can do is divide the good and the not, thrash the bad ones and treasure the amazingly awesome ones. Life goes on lahhh!!!!

Two more days for my graduation yay!!! I'm excited. And tommorrow "Paparazzi Day" wooooooooooooohoooooooooo =)

Enjoy the tiny pleasures =)

Most of us miss out life's big prizes - the Nobel,Oscar,Grammy's, etc. But we are all elligible for lifes small pleasures - a pat on the back , a hug from a best friend, a glorious sunset, a silent night on a terrace , a slow walk on an empty road with the person you love the most. So dont worry about missing life's big rewards. Enjoy its innumerable tiny pleasures =)

Hope Against Hope

Well I'm nervous, I'm excited, I'm a little mad n sad, I'm happy. But I hope all turns out well tomorrow. Tomorrow is the day! The day which may change my life. I've been dreaming about what I wished for and praying at the same time. I've been hoping against hope and I've never stopped dreaming about it with full positivity and enthusiasm. I hope the Almighty will shower his blessings upon me and that my efforts would have ripen sweet fruits for me to enjoy and be happy along with making my close ones happy too.

Don't run away from it, Run towards it =)

When life doesn't go your way, don't sit in the corner feeling scared and doing nothing. Instead, change it and make it go your way. Rule your life and not let life rule and ruin you!
Life is full of ups and downs. You can't always expect life to be perfect. More often, it doesn't go your way and so you have to face it and take it as a challenge.
When people don't treat you right, don't expect them to change. Instead change yourselves. (Now just imagine, if one person decides to change him/herself, then soon enough everyone will change, wont they :P)
So when you think life's not going your way, then step forward to make a difference and don't expect a fairy to come and do it for you(because it wont happen).
If you think you can't handle it all by yourself, then look for someone who understands and who is willing to help you.
Don't run away from problems, instead run towards it. Don't get discouraged and just face every challenge enthusiastically =)
